CaSSandra Seefeld
Painter, Doll Designer, Writer

CaSSandra is a late starting, self trained painter. Her actual story can be found by Google: Steve Esquerre consorts with CaSSandra, The International Magazine of Theatre, Film and Media.

In 1982 works included women, antique cars and Corvettes. Her classic cars were exhibited with vintage vehicles at the Rolls Royce Cup, 1983. The Galveston Fire Department commisioned “Unit 301” in 1985.

By 1984, CaSSandra opened her own studio/gallery called Ghost-Mart, and Muse de Masquerade on I-10 in Slidell, La. Entering local and international juried shows successfully. Simultaneously creating Enchanted Minikins, Apple Pie Ridge Rascals and Plantamals. She developed “Toys from Outer Space” and stories for all characters.

Enchanted Minikin’s home base at Hello Dolly, was on Royal Street in the New Orleans French Quarter. Later came the State Museum, Cabildo, Jazz Fest, galleries, gift shops, 5 state Junior League Xmas Shows, The Whiehouse Christmas Tree Ornaments; and distribution by W.H. Smith Co. to Hotels, Casinos and Airports.

Her art has been on cable TV, 1/2 hour “Talk of the Town”, and QVC among others. Over 60 magazine articles have been written. Dolls and paintings were props in several movies, and purchased by celebrities.

CaSSandra’s art has brought 6 awards from Fashion to Display.

After Katrina, CaSSandra rebuilt her home and expanded her private studio/gallery. As a Cancer Survivor, 2013 brings new beginnings with the reopening of her studio. Also the opening of Zeringue/CaSSandra a Picayune, MS Gallery with Metal Sculptor, John Zeringue
